Bert Lurch is Co-Founder and CEO of E Central Medical Management. After graduating from SUNY Old Westbury, Bert began his career at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He and his business partner, the late Louis Burke, founded ECM in 1999. Bert is active in the business and non-profit community, serving as former president of the Health & Business Alliance, a consortium of healthcare, non-profit and business entities. He currently serves on the President’s Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, is a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce Board as well as co-chair of its Health and Wellness Committee, and is a member of the Long Island Elite (LIE).

Anthony brings more than 30 years of experience in hospital administration, patient access, credentialing, physician billing, and practice management. Anthony has a proven track record of building high-performing teams, streamlining operations, and driving fiscal accountability across diverse healthcare environments. Anthony has also distinguished himself in developing data-driven analytics and implementing effective policy management frameworks that enhance organizational performance and ensure regulatory compliance. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management as well as a Master's degree in Public Administration, combining a strong academic foundation with decades of hands-on leadership to deliver meaningful and lasting impact.

Michaela Faella has more than 40 years of experience in healthcare, including 25 years as a practice administrator for numerous specialty practices including home care, physical medicine & rehabilitation, chiropractic and homeopathic medicine, gastroenterology, anesthesia and pain management, pathology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, geriatric and adult psychiatry. In 2009 Michaela formed Medical Practice Management of NY, LLC, a successful medical billing and consulting firm, with numerous clients throughout the NY area. Areas of practice expertise include revenue cycle management, practice evaluations and ancillary business development, accreditation consulting for office-based surgical entities, credentialing, and human resources recruiting. In 2024 Medical Practice Management of NY LLC merged with E Central Medical Management, Inc. (ECM).

Laura Castro has dedicated more than 25 years to the healthcare industry, progressing from medical assisting to billing, collections, management, and executive leadership across a wide range of medical specialties. In 2007, she founded Metro Medical Billing & Consulting Corp., where she spent nearly two decades helping physicians maximize revenue, improve operations, and navigate the complexities of medical billing. She worked with practices in Anesthesiology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, Pathology, Physical Therapy, Psychiatry, and other specialties, serving both in-network and out-of-network providers. Following Metro Medical Billing's merger with E Central Medical Management (ECM) in 2026, Laura now serves as ECM's Senior Director of Account Management and Business Development. She continues to provide strategic revenue cycle guidance and personalized support to healthcare organizations throughout the region. Laura's mission remains simple: deliver responsive, customized billing solutions that maximize revenue, reduce administrative burden, and allow providers to focus on exceptional patient care. Outside the office, Laura enjoys life on the water. As a proud member of WOW (Women on the Water), she's just as comfortable captaining her own boat as she is navigating a complex revenue cycle.
